About this event

Garry will offer practical advice during the session to give you the confidence to take great street photos.

The two-hour workshops will offer practical advice on how to photograph on the street – often considered one of the hardest genres of photography but also the most rewarding. Workshops will include one-to-one, hands on assistance and a photo critique at the end of the session over tea/coffee and cake - included in the £5 ticket price).

All you need to bring is your own camera or camera phone. Waterproof clothing is advised if rain is forecast.

  • These workshops include a pre-workshop action pack (pdf) which gives advice on street photography technique, the law and photography and covid-19 safety guidance.
  • This workshop is suitable for all photographers of all experience levels, from beginner to expert.
  • Under 16s are welcome but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
  • Workshops will be socially distanced and limited to 6 people (including the session leader) in accordance with the Covid guidelines.
